We have a TON of music happening in our class these days!  We are excited to have Ms. Daniel as our music teacher. Students this year will choose between music or visual art. We are SO excited to be able to offer instrumental music to our students, and ecstatic that students will have music twice per week.

I am also excited to be working with the San Francisco Opera again this year to perform a shortened version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic operetta, The Pirates of Penzance. This is the twelfth opera collaboration between SF Opera and our class, and it is always a highlight of the year for us.  The performance date is still being determined.  In the meantime, enjoy one of the best known patter songs from this classic:
