Welcome to your new classroom! We are very excited to get started this year, and it will be important for everyone to be prepared for school every day.

We will provide much of what is needed, but we ask that students have the following on a daily basis:

1. School issued Chromebook with charger and headphones,
2. 2-inch 3 ring binder OR accordion file to transport papers back and forth to school. We find that most students are more successful with an accordion file, but it’s your choice!
3. An SRCSA planner. These will be available for purchase at the Ice Cream Social and in the office for $5. This is a REQUIRED item for ALL students, and all students must purchase our school planner. Please let us know i f you need a scholarship to purchase this item.
4. Plenty of lined paper,
5. Small pencil box or bag (please nothing huge— it will fit in a small desk!)
6. 10-12 SHARPENED pencils (please no mechanical pencils) that will remain in the classroom. Please have students write their names on their pencils with Sharpie, and check frequently to see that the pencil supply is replenished. Our classroom seems to have a pencil “black hole” and we lose them often. 7. A small pencil sharpener (preferably one which collects the shavings), 8. A good, large eraser (e.g. Pink Pearl or Steadler) 9. Glue sticks (2-3)
10. 1-2 small highlighters
11. 2-3 thin dry erase markers 1
2. A reusable water bottle, to be kept at school, with your child’s name on it.

We know many students like to purchase fancy pens and other materials. You are welcome to do so, but please leave all these items at home. The materials listed above will be su fficient for the work we do in class, and any additional items can be very distracting. We appreciate your support in keeping unnecessary supplies at home.

In addition to the supplies students will need, or classrooms are always in need of the following supplies:
1. Disinfectant surface wipes
2. Kleenex

If you are able to donate any items to our classroom supply, they are greatly appreciated.
